Our R&D investments have enabled us to develop innovative and sustainable solutions. Today we are the first Italian company to obtain ISCC PLUS certification for the production of recyclable rigid plastic packaging with a reduced environmental impact, made without using fossil-based raw materials.

Our approach promotes the culture of the circular economy and changes in consumer choices. For some of our processes and products we use ISCC-certified bio-based polypropylene, which makes a significant reduction in carbon emissions possible.

MPG Manifattura Plastica uses polypropylene with a reduced environmental impact, guaranteeing carbon savings of up to 2.5 kg per kilo of polymer used compared to production of the same polymer from fossil-based raw materials.
MPG packaging allows companies to confirm their own commitment to sustainability through the traceability of the supply chain.

International Sustainability & Carbon Certification (ISCC) is an international certification program for the circular economy, which checks traceability back to the point of origin of recycled materials on the basis of mass balance bookkeeping principles.
It is an independent third-party assessment, conducted in accordance with the guidelines of the Ellen MacArthur Foundation*.
ISCC certification may be applied to any type of bio-based material. It is also the most widely used certification in the circular economy, fundamental in demonstrating traceability and verifying declarations of the origin of recycled materials.
*The Ellen MacArthur Foundation was created in 2010 as a response to the ecological impact of human and industrial activity and to accelerate the transition to a circular economy. The foundation brings together decision-makers from the corporate world, government and academia, acting as a leader of global thought for the circular economy.
